The miSAN®V Series combines the incredible speed of disk-to-disk backup with the security of removable tape archives. Using familiar Ethernet components, this D2D2T solution provides enterprise-wide access up to 24 TB for centralized backed and restore – at 300 MB/s. Once installed, you can automate backup to run for days, weeks, or months without operator intervention; even run multiple backup jobs concurrently to independent logical libraries within the VTL. Restore from disk is almost instantaneous. iSCSI data backup appliance: 2U rack mountable SATA-II RAID with 6TB raw capacity, dual 460W power supplies, 3 GbE ports, dual SCSI ports for host and archive tape device connectivity, tape virtualization software suite with 6 virtual tape drives, 100 virtual tapes, six virtual tape libraries, archive license for 24 slot tape library.
